Calling all Pilots!! I was watching the air traffic from my deck overlooking the airport this weekend, and I got the itch. If you are a pilot (or know one) who is willing to take a passenger or two up for an hour or so, let me know.

I'm looking for a review of the dinners and events at the Moose Lodge on E. Patrick. Are they just for members or is it open to the public? Are the meals any good? I drive past it every day, and I am getting curiouser and cyriouser. ;)

@syako It is a bit of a hike, but in preparation for when it arrives in Frederick, you should go shopping at the Wegman's in Dulles. They have the best seafood selection around, in terms of variety, freshness, and quality. Of course, crabs are a different story ...

@Bill Just to update, we ended up grabbing a burger and a hot dog at 5 Guys. We sat on one of the nearby brick walls to eat and chat with passersby who wanted to say hello to the pooches. I don't think we would have been able to get anywhere near outdoor tables at any location between 6:30 and 8.

@Bill The two I came up with off the top of my head are Black Hog and 5 Guys. Buy the food and eat it on a bench near Carroll Creek. I was hoping for more of a 'sit-down-at-a-table-and-be-served' experience.

@Bill Speaking of good business ideas ... Why isn't there a coffee/pastry cart inside or outside the train station??? I seem to forget my coffee at home about every other day.

All,
We are going to Fire and Ice Saturday night, and we are bringing our dogs (two adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels). Since it will be relatively warm, what are our options for outdoor dining/drinking downtown?

Can someone go out and clear the snow off my car at the MARC Station downtown? No need to hurry, I get back there at 7 pm. ;)

Bill
