For anyone trying to get a reservation at Table 21 at Volt, they expanded their table of 4 people to 8 people. I was able to change my November date to my actual anniversary date in October!

www.wtop.com/... Have you heard about this? I hope it passes. It mentions that Volt chef Bryan started this. Will be nice to BYOB to restaurants and save money, especially since I have dinner reservations at Volt for next November at table 21!

@Liz I hope you can! Cruises are a blast. I have a good friend that's a travel agent, so I got a good price. We actually got a discount due to Tony's military status, so that was nice.
@Monica I go on vacation at least two times a year and always a minimum of 2 weeks. I live to travel!!
Catching up on many postings on various web sites. Just back from a wonderful 14-night Europe-Transatlantic (inaugural) cruise. First on the Atlantic, and happy to report smooth sailing. Awesome ship (Equinox).
@FinnyFinn I've always found the staff at Mexicali Cantina to be great. Never had any problems. Enjoy their food too.
@JoeW Were you with the large group? We did see/hear birthday singing.
@Monica Oh, and we also got a complimentary mini dessert - a rich cholocate type cake with whipped cream.
@Liz Thanks Liz! The only negative moment was when Tony was trying to decide what he wanted to drink and the waitress was a little pushy. He sort of had to tell her firmly, 'Give me a minute please.'
Had dinner on Thursday at the Tasting Room. Excellent dinner (panko shrimp, salmon with a fabulous truffle sauce; Tony had the seafood stew). Pretty noisy restaurant. It was our 21st wedding anniversary. Waitress treated us to champagne.

@StorageLady Ditto to Chops - I just started dieting this week. I belong to a rotation dinner group that meets once a month. There's probably 25 of us. Always good food!

@Guy Thanks Liz and Guy, I'll check the menu out. My husband wasn't thrilled the last time we went for dinner but that must have been 4-5 years ago. One option is Tuscarora Mill in Lessburg. Been there for lunch but not dinner.
